    Event Summary

The Outreach Service/Drop In run by The Royal British Legion here in Exmouth has now been running for over a year. The Outreach Hub allows direct access to The Royal British Legion services providing lifelong care and support to all members of the British Armed Forces past and present and their families, meeting with a member of the Operations team face to face.
Support provided includes Benefits, Debt and Money Advice. If you are having trouble paying the bills, and this is having a fundamental impact on your life, our advisors have got the specialist knowledge to help you get back on your feet. Seaside Breaks and Family holidays, War pensions and Armed Forces Compensation Scheme advice, Handy Vans Service, Independent Living Advisor and our Immediate Needs Grants Scheme are there if you are going through a crisis and need help to meet sudden and unexpected expenses. We can’t provide cash, but we can help pay for the services or equipment that are needed. We also have an Outreach worker who works with the extremely vulnerable, helping them to engage with the right services available to get them back on track. We also have specialist employment advisors to get you back into work and can also help towards the cost of courses to help with employment prospects.
The sessions operate on the 1st and 3rd Thursday's every month between 9.30am – 12pm at The Glenorchy Job Club, Exeter Road, Exmouth, EX8 1PL.
